--------OT-------- trading A friend just told me a story. On August 5, before opening, a client placed an order of 300,000 sell UNH on market-on-open. The broker who received the order thought it was sell for 30,000 and sold it on the open. When the confirmation came back to the client, he said it was 300,000 shares. At that time UNH dropped $10 and the company took 2.7 mil in their error account. This kind mistake makes the tiny profits from the commission or daytrading insignificant. Last week, problems like that happened everywhere. So,always be careful with your orders.
