Acacia Research claims to have a patent covering the V-Chip, but this patent has recently been challenged by another firm, PG Distribution Inc. Other than the questionable V-Chip patent, the firm has nothing to speak of. For the first quarter it had revenues of $63 thousand and a net loss of $997 thousand. The company has a market capitalization of about $47 million dollars.
