Johnson! Your soliloquoy was a ..... well .. work of art .. kind of.
Put as much time into your investment analysis as you do in writing and thinking about my motives and well - you still may not invest in sound companies but, at least you'll be filling the air with more positive thoughts. You are a crusty ol' piece.

Mark Johnson,

Excellent rejoinder! Well put.

My point, however, remains: Any source of commentary that helps one think through the strengths and weaknesses of one's investment should be welcomed regardless of how rudely or crudely posed. Emotional reaction to a poster's style or content simply prevents dealing with the issues raised. Of course, sometimes these issues are quickly seen to be inconsequential, but sometimes they are found to be crucial. Chasing away someone like Mark Visnic simply diminishes the likelihood of the important issues being raised. Example: without Visnic's postings regarding Valence's tenuous financial position, few of us would have paid any attention to such a crucial matter -- a matter crucial when first raised and a matter which remains crucial. We owe our heightened awareness of the issues surrounding Valence's financing to Mark Visnic -- his abrasive style notwithstanding!

Finally, if willing, please explain why Visnic's holdings or employment is relevant to considering the points he raises. How is it wrong to scare "indecisive investors" with serious questions about matters crucial to the success of Valence? Shouldn't they be scared? I know I am!

Good luck to all us Valence longs! God knows we need all the luck we can get!

My conclusion is, he is an ALARMIST, nothing more. I know by posting this letter a long winded verbose response is coming in the vernacular of our learned friends smoking rooms. The response will be much more clever and astute than any of us emotionally attached investors could muster. He will discount instinct, intuition, faith, and belief as weak traits in the investment world (somewhat true). He will stress the cold hard facts and disregard and diminish enthusiastic projection. It is his only style, stuck in the aggressive piranha like attacking frenzy of his lawyerly world.

I had to read this part again. Honestly, it brought another chuckle the 2nd time I read it. What a mish mash of reasoning!

Hi Mark J.- nice post!

I also noticed an increased intensity of negative posts, perhaps from shorters worried about the effects of the upcoming conference call. They may have unknowingly helped me by holding the price down while I acquired a little more stock last week at 4 3/4 and 4 13/16. I believe large investors have been quietly accumulating during fear and margin selling.

Hopefully the conference call will clear up some misunderstandings that were spun negatively and caused unfounded worries. It's been a long wait and not a question of whether but when- I wish I had more to invest at these bargain-basement prices. It should become exciting to be first to mass produce a terrific product!

Best Regards, FMK
