Intel Investors - It doesn't mean much, but Intel was UP $3/16 in after hours trading - $86 13/16.

Better than being DOWN !

AFTER THE BELL- Cisco Systems shares
rise

NEW YORK, Aug 10 (Reuters) - Shares of Cisco Systems Inc., the top
maker of networking equipment used to link computers, rose slightly in
post-session trading Monday after the company said it had counter sued
Lucent Technologies, Inc. (LU - news) in a spat over patent infringement.

Shares of Cisco were trading at 99-1/2 on the Instinet electronic system,
up 5/16 from closing on the Nasdaq, where it was the fifth most active stock of the day.

Other technology stocks were also trading post-session with Intel Corp. (INTC - news) up 3/16 to 86-13/16
from the regular close. It was the second most active stock in regular trading.

Microsoft Corp. (MSFT - news) shares meanwhile fell 3/16 after hours to 104-1/4 after the close. The
software giant announced earlier in the day that it was filing court papers seeking dismissal of a
government antitrust suit.

The New York Stock Exchange said the volume in after-hours session one was 1.60 million versus 1.04
million on Friday. Session two volume was 4.94 versus 1.83 million shares on Friday.

I don't know how to respond to such an incoherent post. Slot 1 is a "monopoly tactic", but AMD's copy (which is NOT bus compatible - meaning they are copying it because they want to, not because they have to) is a great innovation. Whatever...
