I think Lycos is very under-rated. They are less brass in seeking publicity and are very clever and frugal in putting together the assets needed to be a much bigger player in the web browser and e-commerce wars. From a fundamental standpoint its hard to call any of the inet stocks "cheap" but Lycos comes much closer than almost all others out there.

This is a love-hate market climate: If you are one of the darlings, like Amazongonenuts.com, then speculators jump on-baard willing to ignore warning signs that the price has shot up too much. If you are not in favor, you can put together technically superior service and just be ignored. If the inet stocks head down, as I think they will, then Lycos will go down or trend sideways, IMO. After a correction period however, Lycos should be well positioned to out-perform Amazon.com and several others. These are my off-the-top opinions from the little I have looked into the company.
