Ruduee, I saw the same news. Source unknown to me, but I think it's accurate. I think it's funny that the writers at CNNfn are too out-of-it to realize that was hardly the reason that DELL was on the move.

Good thing we know better.

Hi all. I'm new to SI but have been lurking for a while. Been invested in DELL since December 96 and enjoy this thread very much.
Anyway, I think the news that the above was based on is from Bloomberg, where they report Compal (Tawainese manufacturer of 1/3 of DELL's notebooks) have reported gains in sales.
