FMK,

Thanks for the note. You mention several reasons among many to continue to think Valence will finally succeed.

It is also useful to remember, though, that big success does not automatically mean the current shareholders will be correspondingly rewarded. I have read the 8K (but am still trying to digest it), and I find its details more disturbing than the summaries posted here and on Yahoo suggest. At a minimum, Valence will have to succeed "bigger" than before to produce the same results for us current shareholders.

Moreover, should anything go wrong in the course of bringing production online and gaining purchase orders over the next few months, there will be a rush for the exit among many of the current shareholders which will drive the stock price much lower and leave those of us unable to sell stuck high and dry. Given the consequences of such a failure for the new finance package and any further financing, the stock price is not likely to recover anytime soon, if ever.

The risk of this speculative investment has clearly risen. As others have said, it's now do or die for Valence. Reducing exposure is certainly not irrational.
