I wonder if there is any merit in estimating the prices daily (maybe based on the average spread on a day times the new open interest). It seems that Max Pain would have significantly different results if it considered the actual prices paid at the various strike prices. It could be called actual pain. lol.

Just a thought. Killing time eating a sandwich.

dls

Predicition #1. Market has bad day of losses this week.

Prediction #2. Loss leaders are several of the current market "darlings"

Reasoning:

The only stocks in the market right now which aren't getting the the heck
kicked out of them right now seem to be the internet stocks.

How long do you guys really believe that this one sector can advance while
the rest of the market declines?

We need either a broad based rally in the market, or there will be a major
sell of of internet stocks by the end of the week, IMO, and quite possibly
tomorrow.

Opposing views? Does anyone really believe that this such a one sided market
rally can continue like this?

Please look at these indices folks, at the bottom of this note...

The rally on our market now is so narrow... It only seems to be the most hyped
stocks that are progressing. You know which ones I am talking about.

This is a VERY negative sign.

Please... Read on...
