<Do you really care how the strike affected July?> In a word, yes! However, if (when GNTX notes this factor) they give a positive outlook it could cause the stock to ramp, especially at these sub 13 levels. Tried to go long today with a limit order in the mid 12s when I saw the stock had seen 12.25 but never got filled.

Today's action seemed to be caused by a couple major players bailing. It looks like about 1:30 around 80k shares were dumped, to which the MMs responded by tanking the stock a point. I can't help but wonder if these sellers know something we don't?

IMO very strong support is at 11 & change. So from here we have very little downside and unlimited upside. In addition, if the company makes a positive outlook announcement or two, it should put the stock back on the upswing. But, again, if GNTX says that the GM strike will cause them to miss earnings significantly the stock could go lower.

Do your own research and draw your own conclusions. These are just my observations and opinions. I try to be as objective as possible. There's no sense in talking the stock up or down as nothing you or I say will influence the stock price. The market isn't right or wrong, it just 'is'.

LT GNTX longs will be happy campers b/c the LT fundamentals are intact. It's the ST that concerns me.
