I don't think Asia has felt the worst of it yet. All indicators point to additional problems as currencies continue to slide. Russia with more problems to come, also.

Currencies are still sliding. Personaly, I think that the yen is going to keep sliding until Japan takes serious action. If the yen crosses the 150/dollar threshold, the Chinese could well devalue the yuan, which means more turmoil. Other smaller countries continuing to devalue (Vietnam yesterday and Singapore still sliding).

I'm up maybe 8 or 10% on the current mini-rally, but I think I'm gonna' go back to cash and watch for a while longer.

<David, real question is "has full effect of Asia been discounted in current prices?">

Exactly... it doesnt really matter if "the worst isnt over"... its "has the worst been discounted. My whole point is a year ago all we heard from the street is "there will be an IC in every product on the planet!" "Growth will be unbelievable in the next 20 years", etc.
Well, guess what... the bullish scenario is still intact... its just a matter of "time frame"... a wise man once said don't try and time the market. I'm not saying buy here... but if this market gets ugly and they take the "semi-equips" with it... I believe you gotta be a buyer. If you wait for good news and that "warm and fuzzy feeling" they will be much higher. I'm lucky enough to be sitting on some $26 KLAC and sub 30 AMAT and I'm not selling this stuff for anything. Any pull back and I believe "INVESTORS" (important word) should be buying.
