Dan,
I was just waiting for your typical reaction. Again, apologies for trying to help as Mr. Murphy asked if I would be kind enough to pass things on to shareholders. You are one of the main reasons I have not posted hardly at all in the past few months and also why my E-Mail list grew from 240 to 415 during that period. In regards to everything else I think you need to spend at least a week meeting with Joe in order to catch up. Hope you're meeting with Joe in New York today rather than Connecticut.
Again, my apologies for spending 16 hours a day on one company just so that I may be able to do my small part to try and help others.
"Grupo Brad"

<<<<Don't you think it's about time we just stop talking about some things until we really know what we're talking about?>>>>

DA,
Please believe that the few of us mentioned in your post do the best we can to share what information we have with everybody. As I understand it, the Spear Leeds meeting had to be postponed due to a situation on their end. Regardless of whether there are those who do not want to talk about the listing is was a major part of the annual meeting. If posting the discussions from the meeting smacks of insincerity (=hype) in your mind then so be it. We all look at situations differently. I do agree it is much easier for some of us to get through the voice mail at DCI than others but the reasons for this go back 3years when friendships were made. Some of us did DD on the company other than make a phone call or two.

As far as the preferred shareholders selling after Nov. of last year that has not been confirmed regardless of what Charles has implied. As far as selling the company by June, I believe Joe may have mentioned in the past that it would be wonderful if he could announce that at the annual meeting but I have always believed we could see something on that before year end with a closing at year end.

Best Regards

Dan, If you don't like the information posted on this BB, then you need to dig up your own facts IMO. No, the input from all of us is not always going to agree as things change rapidly with respect to DCI. For example, the day before the annual meeting, Murphy had to throw out his planned presentation and start over due to new developments. I know for a fact that there are a lot of good people that work hard in trying to keep DCI investors informed and do so without expecting anything in return at all. Your blanket attack is both unfair and unwarranted IMO.

James

DA,
I wanted to take a couple of days to think about your post and its underlying tone before I commented to any length. I have learned in the past that from the hip type responses usually come back to haunt the writer. Your post covered a whole lot of territory and I believe you have some valid points but I happen to disagree with several of your statements and especially the part about insincerity and hype. I have always tried to share with this board all the information that I could pertaining to DCI and one thing I can say for sure, it was never done so with a smack of insincerity. <<<<Don't you think it's about time we just stop talking about some things until we really know what we're talking about>>>> I posted that Joe was to meet with Spear Leeds last week because that was announced at the annual meeting. Since many of you could not attend this meeting I tried to post as much as I could remember. I believe Joe had the best of intentions when he made the announcement, which by the way was not a PRIVATE one but to everybody in the room, but evidently the plans had to be changed. Since I was just relaying an announcement I did not think I would have to worry about your above statement.
<<<<Along this same line, IMO a lot of people on this thread ought to do some more research or at least be pretty darn sure they know what they're talking about before saying things that may have different interpretations just a few days late>>>>

I believe most of us on this thread do our very best to keep our opinions as accurate as possible. If we waited to post only after we were absolutely 100% sure that our statements contained no flaws you might be the only poster for days on end. I would venture to guess that every statement on this board is interpreted in different ways by different individuals. Yes, I have made statements that turned out to be incorrect for one reason or another, but I can promise you that dishonesty or the intent to deceive never came into play.

When ever I had a conversation with Joe and he either asked me or said it was OK to put the information on the board, I did so. If you interpredted that as company policy then that is simply your interpretation. When you talk with Joe on the phone he sometimes can get on a roll and it is very difficult to keep up. There were times I should have asked him to clarify statements but did not realize it until I put the post up and somebody spotted something that did not look right. Joe's mind is always running at break neck speed and many times he will say something to me assuming I know all of the details that led up to his statement. That when confusion sets in as Jewel found out.

Even though you say you are not accusing anyone of "playing fast and loose with the truth" you in fact did so by making the statement. You are entitled to your opinions and I respect that right, isn't that what these boards are are about. However I will repeat this again, it was never my intent to be fast or loose with anything or as Jewel implied, to use dishonesty in my statements. I tried to give this board everything I knew about what was going on at DCI as often as possible and as accurate as possible. One sure way to never make an error on this board is simply not to post but that is not the answer either.

At the beginning of this post I said you made some valid statements. If you feel that the contents of my conversations with Joe should not appear on this board because of possible misunderstandings or misinterpretations that could result, I'm sure others must feel the same way. Jewel is a good example. Because of the discontent that seems to run through most of the posts since the CP's became an issue, I will relay my conversations with Joe only to my E-mail group. This way my statements will not be on a public forum and the cause of any more discontent. This board has been a big part of my life the past 3 years and I want it to stay that way until the end which I hope and believe will be soon.

Best Regards
