Skeets, Thanks! I never used E-Trade and I won't now. No one who treats you poorly would get my business. We stockholders in the poorhouse have to at least not be treated poorly by our brokers. LOL!

Well, Web Street caused the problem in my account by giving me wrong info, and then compounded it by busting the trade a WEEK later (why didn't their system catch the overbuy at the time I placed the order? Their system is supposed to catch overbuys at the time the order is placed.). By that time, it cost me $100 to change the trade, so that was why Ryan offered the $100 in commissions. THEN it was his mistake not to provide it. THEN it was his mistake to lie to John Wiet about never having offered it. THEN it was Wiet's mistake to hang up on me. Then it was Joe Fox's mistake to say he'd give me the credit and more, which he didn't give, and that he'd call me back which he didn't do. THEN it was Wiet or someone's mistake to charge me $50 to research it. THEN it was Sherri's mistake to promise to credit the research fee she didn't provide and to promise a call back she didn't provide.

If I haven't jumped down someone's throat I sure should have. What trader has time for this?

Then we have Jon Rosenberg's notes, which will go down in history as an example of the worst imaginable customer service. If anything could kill Web Street, it's that.
