Bill, my 2 cents are that we will retest the lows of last week, WS will trow in plenty of money to have "a double bottom" there will be a very strong reflex rally and all hte pundits will call the correction over.

Well, but there are 2 fundamnetal factors, the Asian flu turned into pnumonia and it is affecting the western world. Aside from SE Asia Russia seems to be in big trouble, as most Eastern Europe and the UK economy is slowing substantially.

Add to all this the Starr effect and we haved the right combination for a severe drop. It will take some weeks but as I said before, as soon as unemployment stops droping money flow into funds will slow and we will have a snowballing effect --- down

Bill,

>>>>> If we break below 8,500 then we will probably retest the upper 8,300 level before moving higher. The question, of course, is whether the 200 day MA will contain the drop as it did last week.<<<<<<

It sounds that you are still very confident that the recent lows at DOW 8362 will hold.

If we do break 8362, I have the next support at 8238-8166
