AMEN! The function of this whole thread has been lost. All it is now is a sand box scratching match. Who has the most intelligence means nothing. It's been said hundreds of times on hundreds of threads, IGNORE, IGNORE, IGNORE. It takes two to tangle!?

Jim

Cheer up, Jim and take a look at the Spitts & Pitts web site.

www.spittsandpitts.com

The full company wed site should be up next week.

www.edii.net

Everything Dror has promised is being delivered. I love this company.

Allow me to Start the Day With these Thoughts**

and then I will not comment on the subject again.

On July 16,1998 I posted a request asking for opinions about this Thread. I received 9 responses which follow. This activity was going on long before I made that post so I would estimate that it has been on going for about 2 months now. The general opinion is obviously NEGATIVE,
So Please, before you answer some one take a deep breath and;
#1. Ask yourself if it is worth responding to in any manner.
#2. Ask yourself how your response will sound or contribute to the existing information.
#3. Ask yourself if what you are about to say is of a NEGATIVE personal nature and if so,
then take it to a Private Message or e-mail. (My Daddy always said "Act like a child and you will be treated like a child".)
#4. Remind yourself that in America we are supposed to be Innocent Until PROVEN Guilty of any wrong doing and no person or company should be subjected to innuendoes of guilt without solid proof of same.
This should not rule out questions that may result in a negative reflection on a company, but a conclusive answer should not be made until the proper research has been done. If you raise this type of question, you should be willing to state your conclusion after sufficient DD has been done.
Does it mean to you that the company is a scam or some one
representing the company is a liar ?
Is the question answerable and if so how does it reflect on the company or person ?

** Note: I am mindful that these thoughts apply to me just as much as any one else.

EDII > Thread Opinions:
#1 Hi Jim,
Did not have time for email, so took quick route, hope you don't mind. This thread is time consuming to keep up with all the crap. Its too bad SI allows this to go on. I own this stock and will not allow myself to get influenced by all the crap, but do try to read the thread looking for good information.
Very difficult to find it with all the back and forth stuff.

#2 I'm one of the lurking and I browse through SI daily. A lot of the sites are informative and help in making investment decisions, but the EDII sites are by far the biggest reason for not wasting my money on SI. I look at the amount of garbage that you have to weed through to find one bit of information and I sit back wondering how old these people are? It's like watching a bunch of preschoolers fighting in the playground. I'm happy to just sit on the fence right now.

#3 I hold a small amount of EDII shares. The SI board is a joke, SI could not pay me to join. I have never seen so much garbage as what's on the EDII thread. I glance at it daily to see if there is any useful information and I have to skip over about 98% of the posts.

The crap from Janice and her friends has caused me to migrate to Raging Bull. I'm sure they monitor that thread as well but have not caused a fuss there yet.
The irony of it all is that buried within all the stuff they bring up are some valid discussion points but a civil discussion seems impossible when they're present. And it does appear that they have some favor from Bob the SI Admin guy which looks bad. I wish you well in representing all of us little guys.

The SI/EDII thread use to be very informative, but as of late it has turned into a pissing match. It has not influenced me one way or the other, but is still a joke for trying to keep abreast of what is really going on. That is why I do not post more than I do. I went through this same type of crappppppp over on the AOL/CSGC board, and thought if people had to pay to use a thread, they might be more intelligent and civil. As you can see, that is not the case.

#6 Here are my thoughts about the current flame war. Remember, you
asked!!!!
My status:
I own a small number of shares that I bought prior to the flame war. I am not a member of SI.
I would consider my status neutral in the flame war. I am still lurking because this thread has crossed the line from investment discussion to entertainment. It's a combination of Jerry Springer, a soap opera, and the X Files with all of the personal attacks, characters and conspiracies.

#7. Investing opinion on EDII:
I am still long on EDII, but I am in no hurry to pick up more shares. The "bashers" have raised some questions about the history of EDII and Daniel Dror that are not easily dismissed. I still consider EDII a good buy at these levels.
All of the bashing pretty much up until about yesterday had consisted
(IMO) of unanswerable questions, innuendoes, and personal attacks. I really question some of these 'bashers' motives. I'm all in favor of open dialogue all long as someone has some facts to back them up.
This doesn't mean that the hypesters are saints, either. I remember talk of "the biggest oil find in the Western Hemisphere". A lot of posts consist of "news coming out soon". Again, I'm fine with hype with facts. "THIS STOCK IS GOING TO THE MOON!!!" doesn't cut it. I think the flameout has scared off new investors. The volume is way off this week.

#8. Opinion about SI:
I thought about joining previously, but after this fiasco, forget it. There has been great DD (both positive and negative) posted on the thread, but with all of the nonsense it would be impossible for any new investor to find it. Unless SI can come up with a "fair" way of handling flameouts, this can happen on any thread, any time. Of course these problems are not limited to SI, but hey, why should I pay for it....
SI could help...
- Ignore Buttons
- Limit # of posts to 5 per day per topic
- In serious cases such as this one - have an Administrator go in and limit talk to the stock ONLY. The case where trial members cant even post without going through the Admin is unfair. It should be the other way around....

#9 This thread has become nonsense lately.
I've been a shareholder and lurker for over a month now (nothing
meaningful to share). This thread is out of control... too much attention and response given to the naysayers. I know that if I was considering buying some EDII and came onboard SI to check the info out, I would be scared away by all the negativity.
Goodluck to all the "Goodguys" hopefully things will turn around for
you...I sold yesterday... couldn't take the crap anymore.
