Ron,
Thanks for the post about Mita. That's a big relief. I would have held anyway due to the strong cash position and the consistant steady performance despite terrible conditions in Asia. Now my stomach isn't aching so much.

Please entertain the possibility that you do yourself a disservice by allowing yourself to take comfort re Mita.

These are trying times in Asia.

Usually, the bad news that's published is not the whole story.

HK subsidiary is not financially isolated from Japan parent.

MR. Lau has a vested interest in slanting the story, whether intentionally or not. One does well by listening to the facts, not the interpretation, e.g. receivables 'timing'. To compound matters, Mita has probably slanted its telling of the story to Mr. Lau.

When Mita is not current, Deswell would be hard put to discontinue supplying to a 20% to 25% customer.

I am not anti-Deswell at all, in fact I'm a potential buyer. But, as we all know, the skeptical investor is the profitable investor.
