So, you can contribute to the selling pressure today. Good luck.

Down to 115 3/4.

How long before Bateman claims to have shorted yesterday?

Glen, Hi from Seattle. Took this out of yesterdays STimes.
<Analyst takes Egghead endorsement heat

The recent takeoff and subsequent plunge in Spokane computer retailer Egghead.com's stock price has prompted questions about the role of Houston analyst Louis Riley in setting the market abuzz.

TheStreet.com has been hounding Riley over a July 9 press release in which he described Egghead as "a dramatically undervalued" stock whose value could rise to $85. In the days following Riley's announcement, Egghead shares catapulted to as high as $29.125, but have since cooled down, closing Friday at $13.563.

Of course, there were other factors at work in Egghead's brief July ascent: the company had just announced an upsurge in traffic at its surplus auction Web site, and many Internet stocks were soaring at the time.

Still, Riley has been lambasted on online message boards for his unusually rosy endorsement of Egghead, especially because he owns shares.

Riley told TheStreet.com his firm won't issue research-related press releases anymore, but maintained that the Egghead release complied with all federal regulations. >
Does this guy Riley remind you of Mary Meeker of Morgan Stanely and Jamie K of DLJ?
Suggest the coming of the un-box.
