KRYing or Being on the wrong side You raise some interesting questions. I have been reading the thread since the Antares post. It was heavy handed, no doubt, to the companies credit they identified specific posts that they objected to, not just a blanket condemnation of john. Maybe they feel that by defending john we are defending john's statements., which is not true about most posters on SI. I have not seen very many posters telling us that john is an addition here at SI, I feel he is more like a subtraction, that is my opinion. Antares misstepped badly by threatening SI, this will cost them in the long run. They now have to earn back the confidence of shareholders who know that john had nothing to do with the meltdown in the value of their company. By threatening SI they raise the profile of the discussion and attract attention to themselves. The harder questions are now being asked, as you can see.
