Thanks for the following from Orgin of Christianity. It is good that you identified the source of your anti-Jesus material as coming from the Talmud. The Talmud is in fact the origin of all the myths and fables against Jesus. Outside of the New Testament, there is only one other major source for the history of Jesus, and that source is the Jewish Babylonian Talmud. The Talmud is not a contemporary document. It was completed approx. 400 years after the Crucifixion and it is hearsay information supposedly collected from oral traditions. The Toledot Yeshua (The History of Jesus)is used in still used in the training and formation of Rabbis in rabbinical schools. You seem to have swallowed these Talmudic myths and fables in favor of the eyewitness historical accounts recorded in the New Testament. The question is, Sam, why would you choose hearsay evidence over eyewitness accounts by people who actually saw and heard Jesus? --------------------------------------------------------- "Here is history of Jesus. From origin of Christianity. The literature of the Jews hold much of what is needed to unravel 'the mystery of the Gospels'. That is, that the Pisos wrote them! Though the Jews lost the war with the Romans, many of them knew what the Romans were doing with these 'Gospels'. Much of this information was kept, but hidden. It is present within the Jewish customs, tradition, literature, commentaries, holidays, and prayer books. Most notibly, in the two Talmuds; the Jerusalem Talmud (completed in 370 C.E., the Babylonian Talmud (completed during the 400's C.E.), and the Midrash. Dr. Sigmund Freud would have had a great bit to write about had he had known that the true origin of society's synthesized ideologies came from a bunch of murderers pretending to be 'holy' Church Fathers and laying the foundation for laws to keep the masses in their place (a synthesized place made by the murderers themselves!)."
