I guess I am the "goomba" of which you speak. I would suggest you review the sequence of messages. I said AMAT was a great buy in the 20s and I still feel that way. I guess I'll have a chance to prove it if Capt. Morgan delivers a negative message. Jeff {Goomba}

Jim,><< Re wouldnt it be wiser to allow such a suckers rally to stall, then short it? >>speaking about AMAT, NVLS, and equips which rallied on fumes and analyst guesswork... not the whole market !!! ... check the sequence of messages... some goomba was critical of someone not joining the AMAT rally.<

If there was one sector that I would consider shorting it would be retailing, WMT has a pe of 38 as we speak. WMT this coming season is coming up against high sales numbers this next quarter and therefore will not be able to sustain its growth. While AMAT and the SEMI are up against small # with AMAT's pe at 16.5 and therefore can have tremendous growth when Wall Street gets the slightest hint of a positive change in the BTB #. Therefore, would you rather buy low and sell high or buy high and sell low. Everyone has to make this decision.

Just my $.02.
