However, Dell bulls are quite rabid, and the run-up before earnings has traditionally been unbelievable. It already happened and now we're on the downside or sideways limb. Look at the chart this year - there are three great steps up each with an initial peak and then a flat area and renewed acceleration. We are in the phase moving into the flat area. My bet by shorting is: 1. Hedging my longs on down days like this. 2. That this huge rise up from $40-$50 which in my opinion can't be justified on fundamentals is coming to an end. David
