All:
What worries me the most about this "takeover" speculation is the current price.
What would be a possible take over amount.
What is your current average cost of PAIR shares.
I for one have been hoping that there would not be a buyout for sometime to come ( until PAIR has a chance to gain value back)
Even at a 50% premium, Pair is a loser and so are most of us.

With the ALA/DSC deal to complete October, do we think there will be a bidding war of some type with Lucent, Nortel, or others named in the August WSJ SMART MONEY article you pointed out?

Reading further, $1.85B from ALA's public offering provides just about the amount of the expected breakup value of PAIR (30 PEG X $0.90 EPS X 70M shares = $1.89B). Hmmm...
