I'm as baffled as you by the time delays; why do you think I asked all those questions? But that does not mean that it's still not going to happen. If there's anything I've learned from this business it's that CEOs often underestimate the time it takes for attorneys to finalize deals. I once bought short term options on Calgene after the CEO stated flatly that they were expecting their FDA approval in one month. They "promptly" received their FDA approval about one year later. Was he a liar? I thought so at the time! Since then, however, I've come to realize that it was out of his hands and he was only relaying information that someone had given him within the FDA corporate world. Let's give Darby the benefit of the doubt on this one. If she's guilty of anything, it's for trying to estimate a time frame that someone else's clock is timing, namely the attorneys' who are paid by the hour. Matt Black
