Someone dropped part of a newsletter on my chair today. The title of the piece was called 'DEATH WISH STOCKS'. They used Iomega as their first example of the kinds of stocks to avoid. Pretty funny and right to the point in the Iomega blurb.

Basically mentions how the lure of the ZIP drive drove people to run the stock price up without any thought of what would happen when the business attracted competitors. With no barriers to entry and no defendable niche it was just a matter of time before the 'fad' died out, leaving nothing. Mentioned that this happens all the time. Also hinted that there were always problems with Iomega's balance sheet, and that they were ignored by investors.

I'm sure this is just another person bashing Iomega for no reason. There can't be any truth here...
