That is a good thing....too bad about the others that still have them, but it is something we shall live with.

Thanks.

Brad, is it possible to create an interface to the message manager, or perhaps a separate but related URL that returns a simple true or false if any messages are waiting? The point being that one could write a very simple plug-in or exe that polls that URL at a specified interval and, if it has changed from false to true since the last poll, emits some sort of unique beep to indicate as such? Sort of like what happens when we have e-mail. I'm starting to get more PMs than I do e-mail and as I'm always around the computer and always have the net active, I'd like to respond in a timely fashion without having to constantly check manually. Brad or anyone...

Is it on my end, or is SI maddening slow since the switchover? I've never seen the links take so long to come back with a page.

I'm in Florida if that helps.

Thanks

Len

Has Net.com developed a rift with SI? At least one regular poster has been unable to log on for several days.

Brad, I found it interesting that I am not able to get quotes on open end mutual funds through your quote service. Perhaps I am doing something wrong? If not, can it be changed so that I may? I can get these quotes through Yahoo! and AOL, but I was attempting to set up a portfolio, and wanted to include a money market fund to represent cash.

Brad - Re average volume shown on quotes.
How many days is it using to calculate? 30? I know it's not 10, 50, or 200.

TIA,

D
