ISP/C Announces 3Com as Primary Sponsor of the ISPF

ATLANTA--The Internet Service Providers' Consortium (ISP/C) Tuesday announced that 3Com Corp. is a primary sponsor of the ISPF (Internet Service Providers' Forum) scheduled for Oct. 26-28 in Atlanta.

The Forum "for ISPs by ISPs"(TM) consists of hands-on workshops, interactive discussions, educational sessions and roundtable meetings, a vendor exhibit hall and presentations, as well as informal birds-of-a-feather (BOF) gatherings.

Sadly, I own both stocks. While I might appreciate the bump in ADPT value from a 3Com buyout, the last thing 3Com needs is to be perceived as entering yet another commodity business.

So, let INTC buy 'em! <g>
