OT: Lee, that's not fair. You can't expect Eddie to have to research specific stocks to find the winners in this "bear" market.

I think Eddie should put all of his money into shorting the S&P500 if he's so certain that the end is near. It's much easier to do that, than it is to get your fingers dirty digging through earnings reports.

You're just not reasonable. Why should you have to work so hard to make investment decisions based on facts? <VBG>

The DOW is composed of the 30 biggest companies. The MAJORITY of these stocks will be effected by Asia; thus dragging the market down. The S&P500 is a weighted average; thus the big companies will drag it down IF Asia is seen a major blow to earnings. Japan, Korea, Indonesia, and maybe China will all be hit harder these coming months.

Yes, you're are correct. This market has turned into a stock pickers market.
