David, I am bummed that this is happening to you too. I need to call tech support on this (someday LOL!) This confirms that it is not just me.

For anyone interested:

I compared trendlines in parity and ms and found BIG differences.

In MS I noticed that when y axis update is on, the trendline will change its position in relation to price to the point where the price will actually penetrate the trend when it was above it while scrolling.
Also the slope value of the line will change.

When completely zoomed out a trendline that was drawn zoomed in will sometimes point in the opposite direction.

Yikes. This is not good. Period.

Anybody else run into this?
