One rainy morning I pulled on rubber boots to go out for the paper. I stepped on a piece of wild plum branch and it went through the boot and into my foot nailing the boot on. Yelled for the wife to get the pliers. No no sweetie, don't pull on the boot, pull the stick out first.

Yeah, I'm playing hookey for the week. I've got a problem disk in my neck, sends it's greetings shooting through my shoulder and arm. All the twisting and hauling loads of mail aggravates it, keeps the nerve inflamed. So, I'll be going to physical therapy and generally goofing off for a while. Besides, it's about as hot as Texas down here right now. I'll hide indoors and watch the market melt down. Go, Ursa...
