The market is clearly a manipulated casino, I've learned to accept it for what it is, not hope for what it is not. By seeing the completely unsympathetic market movements as a tool, my trading is vastly improved. However, I will say the current action is certainly one of extremes where I try to stay generally in the middle, i.e. selling near the tops and buying close to the bottoms. Granted a little late in both instances, but not riding the ups and downs any more. This means I am nearly all cash now and will be buying in here soon. Of course, this will all change if rates start to go up, a major war breaks out, etc.
