Well eric, I have heard that stated, but I really don't know for sure one way or the other. I think in the current circumstances being from MO on everything is the safest practice. As a note I think I have read that there are ways to trade restricted shares - not legally of course as far as I know. I do know that it is possible to set up private hedges to lock in the value of shares by a certain date (effectively buying a long term protective put) that is legal. But I have no idea if that can be done with a penny stock.
