Looks like the Government of Dominica is pretty cozy with Island Sports Book and Casino. The deal is not "directly" with the Government, but the Government benefits "directly."

Interesting.

Looks like The Government of Dominica wants and needs the revenues that Island Sports Book and Casino will generate. But they are afraid to ruffle the feathers of the US Government.

This way they can play both sides like good politicians. :-)

Go GLOW!

I'm confused? If the bid is .1775 why is the ask only .18?
Why isn't there a larger gap?

Doug Long,
Nice story. Glad to see you posted it for all to see. There really isn't much in it that we don't already know, however, so I don't think there is too much to have a field day with. We already knew from press releases that the original GLOW plan to build a virtual casino for the government fell through, and that GLOW was now just supplying the software to Island Sports and Casino's casino. We knew that already. GLOW still gets their 10%, just like the government. The only bit of news that is new is the ownership of Island Sports and Casino and Internet Gaming Company. Whoever owns these two companies really doesn't affect GLOW, to be honest. However, there could be a perceived conflict of interest if Gary is the sole owner. This is really the only area I see that could cause any concern. Everything else in the article is information we already knew.

I hope this helps.

-Dave

<<According to Chief Executive Officer and President of Global Games Corporation, Mr. Gary L. Borglund, United States citizens, whom he would not name, are investors in the two recently registered IBC's. But Minister Timothy told The Independent that Mr. Borglund owns the IBC's.>>>

Does anyone know if either of these claims are true? Particularly, it seems fairly important to find out if Gary owns either casino.

Thanks,
Quahog

Doug,

Thank you for posting this article. It is always nice to be vindicated. And there is no need for anyone to apologize to me.

But I do wonder - where are all the guys who were going to sue me, or report me to the SEC?

GO GLOW....whatever that means.
