How about this WAG. We close near our supports today to wait and see what happens overseas tonight. This also allows the FED to add liquidity over night. If nothing dramatic happens, the funds will be compiling their buy lists and if the economic reports are favorable this week, they start buying later after one more test of the lows.

Its a WAG at best but looking around the market right now, the big stocks look like a normal trading day with most only down a couple points or less. The indexes look bad because it was a wide selloff with most issues dropping but each one's drop was limited. CPQ is only down 3/4!!! You wouldn't even know this happened if it was your only holding.
