Good insights, thanks for sharing. Agree once IFMX has resolved some of the legal issues and assuming strong Q3, we could begin to see increased speculation about potential acquirers. I hope so.

The Web is clearly moving to a dynamic model, where both text and graphics, as well as formatting preferences, will be served up on a per person basis. It is the databases of the world, especially the UNIX ones, which enable this. So, as the web unfolds and people discover how to ghet value from it, IFMX et al will prove vital to success.

In addition, mid size corps still need to implement the top-tier solutions, such as Customer Asset Management, ERP and the big-name financial apps. All these ride atop a database. The focus has remained on the Fortune 1000 for so long that the emerging markets do not appear on many radar screens. Yet, I see these areas as the future of the database companies. It is a good future, indeed. Good things take time.
