I am looking for stocks that are beaten down, but have a very good chance of going up in 3-12 months (of course sooner is always better). I like gold (ABX, PDG), I like oil (HAL and CDG) and the following beaten techs- COMS, PAIR, ASYT, KLAC, NSM and my bomb stock MAGSF- which I highly recommend if you are patient. I have bought it and socked it away until we have another airline bombing. Then I will sell on the news. You can do this with any bomb stock (INVN, etc) but you need to buy between bombings, in the lull when the stocks drift down to their bottoms. This is an odd little play, I grant you, but I got tired of watching these stocks quintuple on bombing news and me sitting there thinking- "Now why didn't I have a little bomb stock in the portfolio?".
