Doc,
Talk about mysteries?
PPOD has always been one for me. No one, I mean no one, is gonna choose a better cantaloupe than me ( or apple, or lettuce or cut of beef ). Dry good yes but the pricing there is cut throat in the best of times---will the convenience factor overcome? the $64 question.

Amzn--don't have a position but wish I did. They're just not books anymore. Count on them for CDs next and software for act 3. They are the 2 ton gorilla now, soon to gain alot more weight.

DRIV? Down loading software? Are they the only ones doin' it?
( not rhetorical--I really would like to know )

If they are then they got the ring....

Doc,

I don't have all the information available for analysis at the moment but I seem to recall that the latest quarterly revenues for DRIV, INKT, BCST and GCTY are not that far apart.

One thing I do know is that DRIV is selling at a substantial discount in market cap to the other three Internet companies.

Therefore, on a PSR basis, I am sure that DRIV shines over the other three.

When I get the numbers together, I will post them.

Regards.

Elliot

Doc,

On the market cap and PSR issues for recent Internet IPO's:

DRIV: $200 Million MV; Annualized Sales: $11.4 Million; PSR: 17.5x

GCTY: $1.5 Billion MV; Annualized Sales: $11.0 Million; PSR:136.4x

BCST: $1.0 Billion MV; Annualized Sales: $12.8 Million: PSR: 78.1x

INKT: $1.3 Billion MV; Annualized Sales: $11.8 Million; PSR:110.2x

This information is based on current market caps and the latest annualized three months or six months revenues where available. And BCST is presently 35% below its peak stock price while INKT is 28% below its peak.

DRIV is presently of comparable size in terms of revenues but trading at a far smaller multiple than GCTY, BCST and INKT.

In addition, compare DRIV's 1997 revenues of $2.5 million to the others (GCTY: $4.6 million, BCST: $6.9 million and INKT: $5.8 million) and you will see which company has the highest rate of revenue growth thus far in 1998:

DRIV: +356%
GCTY: +139%
BCST: +86%
INKT: +103%

I see plenty of upside potential for DRIV (the tollkeeper!).

Regards.
