Hi Matt,

Been busy myself these past weeks. I look at the new issue as primarily focussed on the institutional side of the market and that will give the common shares a firm base to trade from and go higher. Dilution will be down the road, when they convert to the commons.

To answer your questions.

ZeeWeed is a hollow fiber microfilter, driving force for the separations is a partial vacuum within the lumen of the fibers. This is opposed to a pressure driven separation like RO or other spiral type membranes.

ZeeWeed can be used with a bioreactor, ZENON currently markets a product / process known as ZenoGem. This is a suspended growth bioreactor in which the membrane fibers are immersed directly. The treated effluent is of excellent quality, free from suspended solids. Depending on the requirements for discharge, it can be used for phosphorus removal as well as Nitrification/Denitrification. Main benefits to users are a smaller footprint due to the fact this with the membrane performing the solid/liquid separation the upset prone clarifier can be eliminated. With no clarifiers to worry about upset conditions and loss of biological material the solids loadings can run at much greater concentrations than conventional plants. For example at ZeeWeed ZenoGem can easily operate at 10,000 mg/L TSS compared to a conventional plant.

With the higher solids available a higher plant throughput can be realized from the same size area. More 'bugs' to eat the waste therefore it can process more and still meet discharge requirements.

The other main thrust for ZeeWeed given the recent press releases is to remove pathogens from the water sources. Remember Milwaukee with the 'Cryptosporidium' outbreak a few years back?. The ZeeWeed membrane is ideal to remove Crypto and Giardia from water sources. It is chlorine resistant so Zebra Mussel control is not an issue. Memcor for the moment can not tolerate any chlorine in the water.

Hope that answers a few items.

Keep in touch.

Regards,

Mike
