I think the Dow has at least another 350 points to go on the downside before we see any serious move back up. I just wish we could get it over with quick so we can all get back to enjoying the bull market again.

I believe that the rest of this month is going to give us more of the same. I would hunker down for August, and wait to see if some positive sentiment returns to the markets in September. There are lots of bargains in the small caps right now, but they aren't going anywhere and probably haven't hit bottom yet.

The best thing for the market would probably be for it to take a hit (a la 1987) and get it over with. The worst case would be a long slow bleed.

Personally, I'm holding and trying to talk myself out of bargain shopping just yet.
