I got two calls back today, neither from Fox. Jenna, accounts transfers told me that the transfers should go to their Clearing House and since she didn't have it yet offered to call Brown and she told me later Brown was faxing the form to her for forwarding to Clearing House. Nice. I assume that the first transfer will be handled routinely now, which should mean that stuff will get to Brown within a few days now. Then I send the other transfer. Sherri Smith returned the call I made to her on Fri aft. She said that she had asked that the research fees be credited but there had been a duplicate charge: $16 and $35 and that only the $16 had been credited so she had asked the clearing house to credit the $35, as of today and if it doesn't get to my account to call her or email her. In regard to the $100 commission credit, it's in Joe Fox's hands and I can call him if I want to discuss it with him. I asked if he'd lost my phone number, but that just embarrassed her and she said she was told by Fox to stay out of it and not get in the middle of it. She must have felt like she was a tiny bird who walked in between two dinosaurs fighting, poor thing. I figure I should quit while I'm ahead. He hadn't returned my call or provided the credit and obviously ain't gonna do it. I don't want the credit because I don't want to trade there any more and it SHOULD have been applied to the trades I had after April 3rd but it wasn't. If he intended to be courteous to a customer, he missed the boat, and he'll probably just be as nasty as Jon Rosenberg if I call him. He should be calling ME with an apology. He'll hear from the NASD and whatever other agencies with which I file complaints. If he needs to push people around he can get THEM to repeatedly call him with requests, not return their calls after promising he will. If I'm missing something in my thinking about this, let me know. Can anyone think of a good reason I should call him again? Linda
