Interesting post from Yahoo from Real Estate Speculator who is usually on top of things. Those who are really interested should check the prior post for the url to which this relates in part.

"It will help them reduce wastage, in an environment where cost containment is becoming a life and death issue."

I hope everyone realizes that the above comment is one of the most astute statements ever made on this message board.

Why RNTK? In a nut shell the 3 "E"s

1) efficiency - Reduce wastage
2) Environment - Enables oil companies to comply with current and future EPA requirements.
3) Economic - Increases profit to each refinery, i.e. in place of flaring off waste convert it to an asset with economic value

John,

I agree that exercising his option to buy was probably just one of the perks of becoming a board member. Maybe we should be trying to find out how many shares he was entitled to buy. Did he buy the max ? But let's face it, the guy had 224,000 shares and decided to buy 60,000 more (at a "to kill for" discount). It's good to see company officers acquiring more shares of their company.

I posted mostly out of desperation to insure that this thread had at least ONE on topic post for the day <grin> !!!!!!

Regards,
Chris
