I'm still working off that disastrous pret-a-porter thong business I started that you bailed me out on.
And you will be for another twenty or thirty years if memory serves--(and as long as you're able to).

There's a dog looking in the study window at me---it's a small white dog--he wants to come in---
The other night our good friends Chuck and Jan came over. We opened the door and they entered with this little white dog. "We brought our new dog," said Chuck.

"Oh!" we said, a little surprised as I'm allergic to dogs and they already have a big old English Spaniel named MAggie and it's rude to bring uninvited dogs. The dog ran around the house into the den and the kitchen, perfectly at home. "Isn't he-- cute!" I exclaimed as he started to eat Blue's dinner. "You didn't tell me you got a new dog!" Jan tells me everything.

"well, we just got him today," she said.

Dan is chasing him around the kitchen; the dog is peeing on the floor he's having sucha great time. "Here, Pup! ---What's his name?"

"We haven't named him yet," said Chuck. "What do you think?" I could tell Dan had some ideas, but thought better of sharing them.

"We JUST got him," said Jan.

"Where'd you get him?" I asked.

"On your front porch. He just walked in with us." said Chuck.

We still don't know who he is. But he's looking in the window at me right now. Too bad, buddy. Chuck and Jan are gone.
