most employees in the US work at small companies, represented by the Russell index. And the Russell adjusted for interest rates is worse off than in 1990. In the last 52 weeks more americans have filed for bankruptcy than any year in history.
What's wrong with this picture? Economic trouble is already here.

Some wit has said that the stock market predicted 8 of the last 5 recessions. We can have a bear market without the general economy faltering. 1962 and 1987 would be two examples.
