MM- I really enjoy Japan I had a big part of our business there and used to look forward to being there very much. The Japanese have incredible sytle and a beautiful country and some of the best food on the planet. BUT they are also very ethnocentric and hadn't been invaded for centuries until 1945. Recent history has shown that the Japanese can move very quickly when they want to. The spirit that existed for centuries may well begin a gradual reappearance especially if the US appears weak and without firm resolution. That in my view will encourage the Japanese as I said to 'set up in business on their own' if you get my drift. I think we have to ask whether we are seeing the first signs of that now. Regards, L
