Steve, The shorts want to scare the hell out of the little guys. Why do you think they start selling like hell at the end of the day as they did today and yesterday? It has been an ugly ride lately but it won't last forever.

If you are invested in or are thinking about investing in this company, long or short, you might want to check the rumor boards at www.thestreet.com on VVUS. Several posts and no one had anything positive to say. Basically, it was said that the product does not work according to a poll of 20 doctors, that the delivery method was awkward and at times the cause of infection, and that the company could go bankrupt by year end due to the above mentioned inhibiting the likelyhood of a buyout. Not an investor, yet, just an informer, but at the moment I would probably choose to go short given the above and possibilty of margin calls with a sustained dip below 5. Christian
