Hi Margaret,
Enjoy new Orleans. I have never been there but I think we are going this year to antique.
This market is wild. I heard one of the analysts say Oct. will tell the tale. I am sort of frustrated that I can no longer get Nokia quote on the quotes . I was getting it every day.
I really dont think that the analysts can really predict whats going to happen. Now they are saying Russia is a big factor in world downturn.
Its mind boggling
I have decided that I will just pick what is good and cheap and go with that. and hold on.
I have my grand daughter here ,daughter and son in law who has a broken ankle and is recuperating so we are very preoccupied.
I am no longer listening to analysts as it is too confusing and conflicting. I liked the question put to Bob Brinker. "Why do analysts tout stocks when they are at their high and downgrade only when they have hit a low?
His answer" Not all do, " and then he quoted some who guessed right. I would really like to know which ones . I think I will research these. Have a careful day, INTEL FOREVER.

Margaret. How have you been? The market has been doing pretty poorly the last cpl of days. Here is a post to billwot about CPQ.

Message 5556671

I know that you have bought it and my feelings about CPQ in that post are true. I was able to reduce my margin quite a bit with that sale. As soon as the market moves up again, I will buy it all back and probably some more. I just have the feeling that the market will go down some more and I don't want to get a margin call. And today is double witching. The market could go down some more but it could also come back at the end of the day. But with this world situation you just never know. Big traders don't like to stay in the market over weekends and this weekend is not only a slow summer weekend it has to look at all those other problems. Never a dull moment.

We have quite a mess here and abroad even though here it is not the economy yet.

BTW, we decided not to go to N.O. since it was for a convention and we have been quite a bit on the go already. My stepdaughter and the grandchildren are off to Seattle again.

I'll better get off here and get some work done. There is always so much to do when you have been away.

Sonny
