Vlad-- anytime a stock can go from 5.75 to over 10 in a little over 2 days
(even with the PW's strong buy recommendation or reiteration),
you bet the shorts at work, and I might add,
are having a field day with us.

The problem is that with no news' and therefore no momentum, there is nothing VVUS can do to prevent this, they are just too weak. I guess thats where your tid bit comes in to play about the IR person doing her Madalene Albright impression with the brokers to drum-up support. Then, the stock gets rescued from this abyss, and the shorts are forced to back-off by covering.

We'll see

Steve

It has been a long marathon as you suggested in post #5970...not many ups but yet new lows....I hope too many people do not listen to you as suggested in post #6095..."shorts need to cover now last one to cover will be holding a rotten egg"...I am glad I do my own homework....stock was alot higher....

Vlad,

>>8)Alibra will be a one dose product. Vivus feels that many patients were initially lost to MUSE because doctor's were starting titrations at the lowest dose and never successfully finishing titration at the highest and most common dose (now they know better and doctors are
instructed to start titration at 500ucgs). >>

I thought this very interesting, as it explains to me the mystery of why recruitment within the first year was probably only around 10-20%
