As I have opined before, for the most part I don't think cheap PC's are coming at the expense of higher end machines. In fact to a large extent just the opposite. As the number of worldwide users joining the technology revolution accelerates (be that they are using low, mid, or high end machines), the need for infrastructure (comprised of almost entirely high to very high end machines) expansion will also accelerate.

Perhaps "ridiculous" is a little harsh. "Wild-ass guess" might be more appropriate. We all have opinions or guesses. My SWAG is that 10% growth across the high end will not be able to support the type of world I envision over the next decade.
