Jay - Re: "Do you think either AMD/NSM is a buy at the current dwepwessed stock pwice?"

I thought AMD was a good buy when it returned to $17 1/18 a few weeks ago - and I bought some then. Of course, it went down to $15+ after I bought in again !

Then the Motorola/Copper Hoopla hit and AMD is now back at $17+ $18.

If there is even a prayer of AMD making a profit, AMD's stock could soar. Thus, I'd say AMD was a good buy - but not a good long term investment. This stock is very much like AMD's CEO - a Yo-Yo .

As for NSM - the stock price is pretty low - but I have a feeling that Cyrix's sales and engineering are in such bad shape that NSM is going to be losing some serious money for an extended period of time.

It wouldn't surprise me if Cyrix brought NSM down so far that Brian Halla will be be fired for making such a cockamamy investment.

However, the stock price could easily rebound - again on a prayer.

My opinion is that AMD has a better chance than NSM - and I'm not too excited about AMD's chances !
