bullrider, I see no signs of investor panic now. In fact I expect the market to rally back some now. I may take some short side profits tomorrow.

Hmm. I wouldn't say we're panicking, but there is a solid chunk of my hubby's S&P 500 index fund in his 401K that we're getting ready to sell. A nice solid profit over the last 3 years, and it's time to diversify it into some real estate.
