I have stated my case.

I will not argue over semantics except to say that Don Lane is embellishing the record, and has on more than one occasion, stating that Bob has been "fully invested since October 1990"...Don was close, Bob actually was 100% fully invested in 1991, but the statement is inaccurate and I feel Don knows it is inaccurate. But hey why not tell everyone that Bob called the low it makes him look better than he almost is. This is spin at its worst.

The crux of the issue is *credibility*. Posters on this thread owe it to each other to make accurate statements, and to correct inaccurate statements, or we all wind up wasting time here sharing misinformation.

We are all adults here and we can all handle the truth. All I want put forth is the truth for better or worse. I can deal with it, you can deal with it, and everyone on the board can discuss if we so choose. We do not want the truth as we wished it could have been but we want the truth as it was and is.

Many people on this thread, I suspect, have not subscribed from the beginning and take everything at face value. If no one else wants to step up to bat to correct misstatements I will take upon myself to do so for the benefit of others. It won't make me popular...but telling the truth never makes one popular.

Again as a paying subscriber I will not be insulted by someone misrepresenting the record; it is insulting to me and offensive to those that do not know.

Enough said.

Let's move on to more significant items...what is the probability of China devaluing its currency and its implications for global equity markets?
