If you want to have a search engine on your site, I believe you have to pay Verity a licensing fee to have it search pdf's. It used to be that only a few of the major search engines included a search of pdf. Notwithstanding the above comments on pdf, Adobe products are excellent and they are moving very quickly in establishing themselves on the PC during the last 2 years, as I'm sure you are aware. Only a matter of time before Corel is buried. One more point about Adobe: their great software is very expensive. To what extent do you think the proliferation of CD Writers is eating into their sales?
